By downloading, installing, or using Maus ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Maus is licensed, not sold. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Maus on Macs you own or control. Maus Free can be used indefinitely without payment. Maus Pro unlocks additional features after a one-time purchase.
Maus Pro purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy. If you are not satisfied with Maus Pro, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing manu@mausformac.com. Refunds are handled on a good-faith basis.
License keys are tied to the email you used at checkout. Do not share your license key publicly.
Maus includes an optional auto-update system (Sparkle). Updates may include new features, performance improvements, bug fixes, and security patches. We aim to keep compatibility with your existing data between versions, but we reserve the right to change or remove features over time.
Maus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we take reasonable care to ensure the app works correctly, we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free, compatible with every configuration, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the maker of Maus is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.

You may stop using Maus at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to Maus Pro features in cases of license key abuse or violation of these terms.
We may update these terms as Maus evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
